A #hitRECord Elephant-Moth :: I have been doing illustrations of hybrid animals in my own work for years, but this little guy was inspired by hitRECord users; truly born as reMIX Animal.

This illustration is one of my moth (insect collection) illustrations digitally remixed with a new elephant illustration, and it was born out of a few random ideas by MadisenMusic & swaylooza, some stories by AnneMarije, and a “High-Bred Animals” collaboration started on hitRECord - hitrecord.org/records/567140

I am excited about this new outlet of inspiration, being apart of such a creative reMIX community, so I wanted to share.

Ha! Someone (mattstopera) found the photo I took of Nick pretending to eat our cat as a taco on my Flickr and Tumblr(ed) it. And people seem to like it very much ;^) Awesome.
